Ruumble

Terms of Service

Last updated 14 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Ruumble. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Who can use Ruumble

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract. One person, one account. If we find an account belonging to someone under 18, we delete it.

2. Your account

You sign in with your phone number or your Apple ID. Keep access to that method secure: anyone who controls it controls your account.

Everything on your profile must be true and must be you. Do not impersonate anyone, do not use someone else’s photos, and do not create an account on behalf of another person.

3. How to behave

Ruumble is for meeting people. Do not use it to do any of the following:

We can remove content, restrict features, or close an account that breaks these rules, and in serious cases we do so without warning.

4. Your content

Your photos and words stay yours. By posting them you give Ruumble a licence to host and display them for the purpose of running the app - showing your profile to other users, essentially. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where someone else has already received a message you sent.

You confirm you have the right to everything you upload.

5. The game and matching

Ruumble is built around a question game. You can open round one with someone before you match, and the chat opens after round four. Rounds run on a timer and expire if nobody answers.

Who appears in your deck is decided by an automated ranking that uses your settings, your activity and your profile. We do not promise you any particular number of matches, likes, or messages, and no one owes you a reply.

6. Gold, Boosts and payment

Ruumble is free to use. Gold is an optional subscription that raises limits: unlimited likes, country-wide search, seeing who liked you, more games and Super DMs per day, and undo. Boosts are one-off purchases that put you at the front of the deck for thirty minutes.

If we change prices, the change applies to the next billing period and never retroactively.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time under Settings > Danger zone > Delete account. It is permanent: profile, photos, matches and messages go, and we cannot restore them.

Deleting the app from your phone is not the same as deleting your account, and does not stop a subscription. Cancel the subscription with Apple separately.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk.

8. Safety and liability

We do not run background checks on users. Verification confirms that a person matches their photos. It does not confirm they are safe, honest, or who they claim to be in any other respect. Use your judgement, and read Safety before you meet anyone.

Ruumble is provided as it is. We work to keep it running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for what other users do, on or off the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law - including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes go to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protections of your home country’s mandatory consumer law, and you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.
